What Can You Steal From Conor McGregor To Help With Your Fitness Goals?

Whether it is the Canadian waitress who served me at dinner last week or one of my clients who wouldn’t know a combat sports athlete if they walked up and punched them in the face.

One name to transcend sport has been…

The notorious one!

So unless you have been living under a rock for the past year, Conor McGregor is an Irish mixed martial arts world champion.

He has taken the world by storm with some devastating knockouts and doing so with unshakeable confidence.

If he thinks he will knock someone out in the first round you better believe he is going to tell the whole world he will do so.

They don’t call him mystic mac for no reason. He seems to get these bold predictions correct more often than not.

From the dole to being a multi-millionaire in 2 years! A meteoric rise if ever there was one.

So how does this apply to you?

It’s all well and good me telling you this success story but even if you are not a selfish person you will want to know how it relates to you.

Above, I spoke about McGregor’s confidence. Don’t mistake this for arrogance, he doesn’t speak for the sake of it. If he says something’s it’s because he genuinely believes it.

He is a big proponent of the law of attraction. This is the theory that if you state your goals and beliefs outwardly to the world the universe has a way of making them come to fruition.

Personally I think the theory has some validity but some of the law of attraction stuff is wishy washy bullshit.

Here is what you need to take from all of this.

I believe whole heartedly that if you have 100% confidence in yourself and have the vision of it happening this makes your goals seem far more achievable.

If you have doubt at the start of your journey, you are setting up for failure. To which point there is no point even attempting your New Year’s resolutions.

I have another task for you.

Write down 3 goals that you would like to achieve next year.

A short term, mid term and long term goal.

Now you have committed it to paper you are one step ahead of the competition.

Follow this by doing some visualisation exercises where you see yourself reaching your targets.

Have the courage and back your abilities.

Do this on January 1st and put yourself in the best position to achieve in 2016.

For those who don’t know Conor McGregor and I used to fight on the same MMA promotion and now he’s earning 10-20 million dollars a fight and I’m writing blogs for you all.

Given the choice between the two I would still be writing this blog.

The above may have been a lie!
